VoiceOut 2008

Yesterday was VoiceOut 08/09. It was an excellent first event as far as I can see. Even though there were some obvious last minute stuffs. For example, the banner don't look that great. The emcees were not really in-sync with their scripts. However, they did pretty well entertaining us, audience. I had a great time myself, but too bad there can't be any photography in the Theater For Arts this time around and it really sucks. I wish to take pictures of all the contestants as they did very well, individually, coming up on stage and giving it their all. But I'm sure they have a lot to learn about controlling that voice of theirs. Some had great control, and some just lost control. They need to get their movements and stage presence right.

Farhanah and Shahirah did great on stage. They were previous years winners and they certainly improved a lot since the last time they performed. I'm sure the contestants of this years VoiceOut will do the same. Just keep on trying and never give up.=)

I didn't manage to take any pictures inside the event, but I did too pictures outside the event. Great time talking to the EXCOs and my own batch. A lot changed since we left. There have certainly been alot of improvements and I'm proud of each and everyone of them.( tengok la saper train=P)

Anyway, the pictures can be found on my Multiply.

Croatia VS Turkey
1-1
(Turkey win 3-1 on penalties)

Netherlands VS Russia
1-3
(extra time goals)

Spain VS Italy
0-0
(Spain win 4-2 on penalties)

I know the quarter finals are way over, but I just haven't updated in my blog for memories of Euro 08. Okay, yesterday was the Semi finals.

Semi Finals
Germany VS Turkey
3-2
Must say this match have been a 50-50 match. I watched but I thought Turkey had much control over the Germans. But somehow, Starhub broke down 3 times last night. So i didn't had a great 2nd half. I watch till the score was 1-1 and Starhub faced problems, so I decided to switch off the TV and see the results the next morning.
Goals coming from Bastian Schweinsteiger(27'), Miroslav Klose(79') and Philip Lahm(90') for the Germans while Ugur Boral(22') and Semih Senturk(86') got the goals for the Turks.

Next up, tonight will be Spain VS Russia. I will be going for Spain lifting the Euro 08 cup this year. Just 2 more steps for them but it seems like a heavy feat. Russia will be looking all out of revenge after their opening day 4-1 lost to Spain. Russia improved alot but I still believe Spain have enough depth and class to win the match and face Germany in the finals.

And next event will be BandzOut! whoo~ can't wait. Well, missed out a few things I wanted to say during VO, and didn't get to talk to her after the event as she went off early. Oh well, I believe no one else in the world miss her more than I do. And it will remain that way forever now. (I hope not=)
